Editorial Policy
FinanceHub UK publishes independent educational content, separates evidence from opinion and makes no unsupported claim that a page received professional advice or regulatory approval.
Human-first usefulness
Every indexed page must answer a distinct question, explain the result in plain English, show material uncertainty and offer a practical next step. We do not create doorway pages for small keyword variations or publish filler to reach a page-count target.
Ownership and source checks
The FinanceHub UK Editorial Team owns each page. Published pages show when sources were checked. We only name a professional reviewer when a real person has reviewed the exact page and permission exists to publish their name and credentials. Editorial source checking is not a substitute for personal tax, benefits, legal or regulated financial advice.
Commercial independence
Advertising, affiliate links or lead generation must be clearly disclosed and cannot determine formulas, rankings or editorial conclusions. FinanceHub UK does not currently present a commercial relationship as evidence that a product is suitable.
Corrections and updates
Material errors are prioritised by potential harm. Time-sensitive pages are checked when a tax year, Budget, regulator update or source table changes. Corrected pages receive a new meaningful update date and are resubmitted through the sitemap and IndexNow workflow.
